Nutcracker Audition

A couple of days ago I tried out for the Nutcracker. It was kind of funny at first because I was number 3 and the judges always look at the first of the line before any one else. So all the judges were staring at me. The audition was really easy because there were smaller kids there too. I thought I was going to make it because the judges were staring at me the whole time I went across the room. Then I knew I was going to make it because the judges called me up to act for the part of Clara. It was so hard to think with all the people looking at me. After that I tried out for a soldier I didn't do that well because I was the only smaller kid in there. And it was all bigger kids. That night at about 10:00 my mom and dad woke me up and told me that I had made the part. I was half asleep so I didn't hear much.
